Club Car supplies road legal golf buggies to Slaley Hall
Golf car and utility vehicle supplier Club Car has delivered a 37 road legal Precedent golf carts to Slaley Hall, De Vere’s stunning Northumberland resort.
The Club Cars needed to be roadworthy as there is a public B road that runs right through the Slaley Hall Estate. Each car will be assigned to one of the Slaley Hall lodges to form part of the first class service residents of the lodges can benefit from.
To make a golf cart legal, you need to add a few bits and pieces but it’s not that hard. The carts need front and back lights, indicators, a speedometer and of course, road tax and that’s about it.
Sean Boyce, Managing Director at De Vere Slaley Hall and Kevin Hart, Club Car’s National Account Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa met during the 2009 De Vere Collection PGA Seniors Championship held at The Hunting Course, Slaley Hall in late June.
“The new fleet of cars looks fantastic and fits in extremely well with the first class facilities on offer at Slaley Hall. Quality and service are both paramount to our guest experience so Club Car was the obvious choice as we continue to develop Slaley Hall as a top class resort,” commented Sean.
As the number, size and complexity of golf resorts continue to grow around the globe, Club Car remains the leading brand in the industry for providing the transport solution both on-course and around a resort.
“As a company, we are continuing to develop and grow our portfolio of golf course and resort partners. Providing a high level of quality and service has always been something we pride ourselves on and it is great that this is recognised by De Vere and that our relationship goes from strength to strength” commented Kevin Hart.
