What’s the most important piece of kit in the bag that’s not a club, ball, glove or towel?
Yardage book without a doubt! We’d be lost without it! Failing that the laser comes in very handy during practice rounds!
What else is in your bag?
Z-Star Srixon Ball. David tends to like Mars bars & twix bars .. lol …. I carry plenty of water, isotonic drinks when it is hot, bananas, apples, protein bars & Stoats porridge bars. We share the food except the chocolate thats David’s treat!
Do you carry a lucky charm?
No lucky charms, we try not to be superstitious ….. However occasionally Dave won’t use a number 3 ball when I throw him one …. especially if there is water around! I can’t think why! I tend to go with the thought of 3 for birdie or eagle, not 3 off the tee!
What’s the oldest thing in your golf bag?
David’s Yes Callie putter is probably the oldest thing I carry! Most equipment tends to be renewed regularly. I did recently find a two year old pencil from the Masters in the bag, I need to get some more of those next year!!!
Which is your favourite club?
My wedges.
We look forward to watching David and Nick on tour this year, and hope he completes his aim of breaking back into the top 50. Thanks again to Cleveland Golf for getting us in touch with David, you can check out their website here.
Once again we’re going to tag several bloggers on David’s behalf. So please tell us what’s in your golf bag – details here.
