Ping Latitude V2 Golf Bag
Golf manufacturer Ping has launched a new and improved version of its Latitude V2 golf bag which has already won awards for innovation.
The bag has a host of impressive functions the first of which being that it weighs less than 5.5lbs which as any club carrier will know is very light indeed.
The really clever thing about this bag is the internal frame design which contains six dividers which allow for easy removal of your golf clubs. There’s nothing more annoying in my opinion than fighting with your golf bag trying to get a nine iron out. I’ve even ripped the grip on a golf club before in this scenario which is a complete pain.
It has the usual two shoulder straps and strong double-bend Mantis legs to allow decent support on the ground as well as seven pockets to put your stuff in including a pocket for a range finder and a water bottle.
The only thing I don’t like about Ping is the fact that you can’t buy any of it on the internet except for their clothing ranges. They have a policy that stops any company from selling their goods online. It’s pathetic in this day and age and really winds me up.
I can perhaps understand them wanting to fit everyone for their golf clubs by hand to ensure the customer has the best product for them but that doesn’t explain why they don’t sell golf bags online. Another typical stuffy golf company that won’t move with the times.
That said, the Latitude V2 is a very nice bag and will set you back around £130 and is available in the following colour options: Black, Inferno Red/Silver/White, Blue/White/Silver and Black/Inferno Red/Silver.
Check out the bags at www.ping.com but don’t expect to be able buy one on there because you can’t. Stupid people.
